How to Track Location using Email ?
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)
- SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is a TCP/IP protocol used in sending and receiving e-mail. Users typically use a program that uses SMTP for sending e-mail and either POP3 or IMAP for receiving e-mail.
- Working of SMTP is a simple ASCII protocol that is based on client- server model. After establishing the TCP connection, the sending machine, operating as the client, waits for the receiving machine, operating as the server, to talk first.
- The server starts by sending a line of text giving its identity and telling whether or not it is prepared to receive mail.
- If it is not, the client releases the connection and tries again later.
- If the server is willing to accept e-mail, the client announces whom the e-mail is coming from and destination, the server gives the client the go ahead to send the message.
- Then the client sends the message and the server acknowledges it.

- After Top Right side, icon will be added. Then it will ask to sign in with google.

- After log in, go to inbox and compose mail to find out location. Geotrack is enable below nearby send icon.

- By clicking geotrack, we can able to check a location of an any email id.

- Click three dot and open dash board. A list of all geo tracked email will be visible here.
